Mikael's Winning Butterfly Story:
I too have been admiring and following Patti for some years now.

I was only a young boy when Lady Marmalade was a big hit but I loved that album. I live in Sweden and here Ms Patti is not as big as she is in the US, but I do my best to promote her and her music over here.
 
I have explored almost all her releases since then and I appreciate both Labelle and Pattis solo acts but ofcourse I have purchased the Bluebelles collection as well. And lateley Pattis books.
 
It was after my first live performance I really was hooked. She was in Stockholm after releasing Be yourself, performing at a very small club/restaurant. She was amazing !!! As always. The act was very similar to the Live in NY concert released on DVD. In my opinion Stockholm has never experienced anything like it, not before and not since !
 
Since then I have been to NY and seen her twice, and now Im heading for Chicago in March to watch her at Arie Crown. I recognize me in Deidra, February's spotlight winner, as she wrote that she was crying throughout the show. I too shed some tears of pure happiness and love when I see and hear Patti.
 
Patti has recorded so many beautiful songs, and I often send a suitable song to friends who are going through hard times in life. Winner in you is one of my favourites, which always does it for me and quite a few of my friends have loved the songs sent to them for comfort !
 
What a blessing to be able to touch people the way she does through her work and love for all people ! She is not only an american treasure, she is out of this world !!!!!
 
I wish all the best for Ms Labelle and hope that she will be around for many years to come!
